Please Use Lambrequin in a Sentence, Please!

I stumbled across this unique and powerful word from my Scrabble dictionary; check out its meaning and use in a sentence today!

LAMBREQUIN: Ornamental drapery for the top of a window or door

Sentence:

Ms. White’s French-style house is decked out with total luxury; there are various colorful woven tapestries on the wall and crystal chandeliers hanging from multiple ceilings.  But what I like the most are her velvety rich lambrequins hanging from the massive bay windows.

Ms. White is the epitome of opulence and fine taste; her house has charmed everyone from senators to foreign ambassadors and she is the life of the party.  Magazines and television shows have interviewed her for many years and she gives her time and energy to many noble charities.

Yes, it must be nice to be in Ms. White’s shoes right now; it’s good to dream every now and then.  Money is not everything, but it sure does help out every now and then.  For now, I will focus on my own life and knowing that I have three square meals a day, a roof over my head, and perfect health.  That is more than enough in this world.
