Writing Tips

I’m only a beginner on Triond but already I’ve picked up some tips on how to get your material out there. Firstly, write about something that you think people will read and enjoy reading at that. Secondly, to write something well, you should write about something close to heart. Lastly, make your writing have a bold title. Something that will catch people’s eyes and implore them to read it.

Also, it is important that you are inspired to write and are not just writing for that sake of it. This doesn’t mean you have to sit there and wait for inspiration. It is much easier to get inspired by getting out and about and find something that arouses your interest.

You may also want to write about something very personal to you, such as, family, friends or pets. These topics allow you to already have an understanding on an emotional level and this will come across in your writing.

Finally, it is important that you avoid spelling mistakes of any kind as it may distract the reader from concentrating on your article. So have a dictionary handy or use spell check if you have Microsoft Word.
