A guide to help your article gain more reads.
New to Triond? Then you probably fall under the enthusiasts category, coming motivated by curiosity and a need for cash, composing your first article with care, and expecting an influx of cash by the next day, only to find yourself disappointed by the few cents you are earning.
Why is this so? This is what I have been asking myself for some time, and it is also what perplexes you – for that is why you are here, is it not?
The thing is, on Triond, you don’t get payment for quality – you get it for quantity. This is not some formal forum where technical language is needed. The more you write, the more reads you get, and therefore the more cash you earn.
But that is not all. If you write for example, http://gameolosophy.com/games/online/runescape/acrimonious-taunts-on-runescape-must-be-considered-offensive/, which is actually one of my first articles, you won’t get any reads at all, because the content is so remote and so stale, nobody would actually want to read it. Is there a correction to this phrase in this article:
“because as I said, it’s quantity, not quantity.”
I thought the last word should be quality.
Had fun reading the list though can’t say it would help bring good no. of reads. Even these tips may not help quench a writers’ thirst to get more reads.
