Writing in Circles

Writing a ring, or circle, of articles will help you increase page rank, views and earnings.

Every morning I fall into the same routine. Coffee, read the news, write in circles. I try to build yet another ring of articles, related in some way, and linked to one another. How I go about this may differ from day to day, but the final result is the same. I will have successfully written at least three articles with built in anchored backlinks.

I’ve been spending a lot of time writing about the mechanics of making money writing online. Using SEO keywords, getting anchored backlinks, etc. Today, I wanted to focus on the fun part! The writing. Using the method I’ve come up with will keep you on track, and help you create more quality content than you ever have before. And, we all know, the more we have that out there, the higher the earning potential.

Let’s get down to it. How do you write in circles? First, select a topic that you want to write about. I like chocolate, so we’ll be using that as our example. What do we know about chocolate? Do we have a recipe? Are there unusual uses for chocolate? Where did chocolate come from? What do people most want to know about chocolate? Is there chocolate in heaven? Was the river in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory really chocolate? Does chocolate cause zits? What is the most famous chocolate recipe? As you can see, we have just come up with eight article ideas. Using Google Insights for Search and the Google Adwords Keywords Tool will help you decide which topics are the best to write about, and may even give you a few more ideas.

What do you do with all of these ideas? You start writing articles, using your keywords, and anchoring the articles with backlinks to each other. Depending on how many pieces you’re writing, and where you plan on publishing, this may get a little tedious and confusing. Keep in mind, though, that the whole idea behind the circle is to produce several articles a day with anchored backlinks, which hold your article web ring in place and make it effective. The more you do this, the easier it gets.

Once your articles are written and proofed, you’re ready to begin the publishing process. I personally publish on several different sites. A true backlink comes from one site to another, not from different pages within the same site. Search engines look at them as votes for your page. The more votes you get, the higher your page rank will be in search results.  Everytime you create a “vote” either through a link from one article to another, or through other methods such as social bookmarking, you are increasing your page rank.  This is why, for my method to be effective, you must publish on more than one site. It will help drive traffic to your pages. Triond makes this easier because of the number of websites they post articles on. They have built in the backlink system for us. Take advantage of it, and expand on it with your own blogs, and even other sites.

Why does all this save you time? First, this method almost entirely eliminates writer’s block, so you won’t be losing time trying to figure out what to write. Second, the process gives you several article ideas, rather than just one. The creative process becomes quicker and easier, allowing you to produce a larger quantity of quality content in a shorter amount of time. Now that you are writing and publishing more articles each day, your earning potential increases. Don’t forget to bookmark your articles on the various sites once it is published. Each bookmark is another anchored backlink.
