We writers are at the bottom of the food chain even below marketing affiliates.
As a writer, I love to write. As a human, I love to eat. But this in this day and age the two don’t mix well. Why you may ask? Because writers can’t afford food. I got up today realizing I’m writing 75 articles for some person I don’t know that’s going to pay me well below what I deserve for my hard work and effort. Why would I accept this? There’s no other jobs out there. I am writing articles for a marketing affiliate, the lawyers of the Internet.
I am no longer being subject to low wages that people in India can afford to go even lower on. I am going to sell out. I am going to go to a business that I have no passion or concern about. Why? Because the Internet cast systems says the writers are like the peasents back in the early 1700s. We “peasants” are doing all the “farm work” for the “land owner” (the manager of a website). That land owner is getting a lot of his profit taken away by the “government officials” (the people who own the website). Lastly, the “government officials” must give most of their money to the “king” (The king is who started the whole idea in the first place, who would often have the website making their profit off of him).
I hope you people see my analogy. I don’t want to be king. I don’t even want to be in the government. I want to just be a simple land owner. this is why I am going to either start a strike, or go to a field I am not passionate about like marketing affiliates. I that in bold to show I am not afraid of changing and just using the peasants how I was used. I will go with this economical trend. Since writers are the peasants, I say we go on strike until we have some way to make a living. Thank you for your time

It’s an idea but then we wouldn’t make any money at all. How would that work?
