Why I Like Triond’s New Payment Date

As many will have noticed today, Triond are now paying out on the 10th of the month, instead of the 15th.

As many Triond users will have realised today (August 10th, 2009), Triond is now paying users their royalties on the tenth of the month, instead of the fifteenth. As most will know, you will only receive your payment for the following month is you have exceeded the required $0.50 payout for PayPal or $50.00 for Western Union payments. If you fail to reach the payout limit, your earnings will be rolled over to the next month, until you do reach a high enough figure to get paid.

The first reason that I like the new payment date is obvious; I like getting my hands on my money as soon as possible. I’m sure that all Triond users can understand that. As nice as it is to know you have money coming to you, it is even nicer when you actually get it. Now, because of the changes in Triond’s payment system, I am getting the money five days earlier. This means that I can get the things I want (such as Ebay items or video games) five days earlier using my Triond royalties.

The second reason why I think the new, earlier payment date is great is because it takes away some of the worry. Even after almost 2 years with Triond (wow, has it really been that long?), I still worry before getting each payment. This isn’t because I don’t trust Triond, but because internet businesses seem to rise and fall every single day. We’re also in a recession, a world-wide one. Many companies are cutting their advertising budgets, the very way in which Triond earns its money with which to pay us. Getting my money earlier means that my worry is reduced.

The third, and final, reason why I like Triond’s earlier payment date is because it inspires me to write more articles, earlier in the month. I am usually at my most active, in terms of writing, for two or three days after my payment is received. This used to mean that my articles were getting released between the 15th and 19th of the month, giving me 11-15 days to earn from them that month. Now though, I’ll be getting 15-20 days in which to earn, because they are getting published earlier. This means my earnings will be even bigger, inspiring me to write even more each month. As you can see, this develops a very nice pattern, ensuring I can continue to inflate my earnings and maximise my writing potential, and this is all down to Triond’s new and earlier payment date.
