Why Does Love Hurt

                            Have you ever noticed that you can love more than one person at a time?

I believe that there are a few different kinds of love and they all hurt but feel so good in their own way. You can be in love with someone, of course your spouse or significant other. You can have love for someone because of the way they are, a child’s parent that you aren’t with but you love them still because they helped give you a beautiful little piece of life. A friend that you know you can always confide in when times get rough and they will be there no matter what the case. Last but not least you can have the family kind of love. There is no love better than that of your family. So why does love hurt so much? You have that child’s absent parent that for whatever reason you are no longer with them and it hurts because you want your child to know their other biological parent but chances are these days they won’t. The family love can hurt in a few ways. There could be a family dispute that lasts for days, months, or years and it kills you inside because you know your family is not like that at all. Lastly the spousal love can hurt from about the same things. There could be an argument and hurtful things could be said back and forth but it doesn’t make it any easier knowing that you still love them as much as they love you. All we can do is try to look past that and just hope we can get throughout it and work things out together.
