Where in The World Has My Comment Box Gone

For all my Triond friends. Know that I am still reading your work, I just can’t comment as my comment box seems to have disappeared.

Late last night I clicked onto my Triond account to read a few articles. When I went to comment, my comment box disappeared. Thinking it was a fluke, I moved on to the next article. But alas, now after twenty four hours the comment box is still missing from all all the articles I have read.

All my friends please take heed

Your articles I did read

But comment on them I cannot

For my comment box is shot

Or been kidnapped, led astray

Whatever happened it went away

It say’s make a comment but there’s nothing there

Of the comment box, there’s neither hide nor hair

Please don’t worry I’ll still read

And hope my comment box will soon be freed

When it returns from wherever it has been

I will comment once again

Until that time I can only view

but know I’m keeping up with all of you.

I’m still reading all I can,

I’m still here, still your fan

For now I just hope and pray

My comment box comes back to stay

I will be happy on that day

when once again I can have my say

You’ve expressed this wonderfully! I had an article disappear for 24 hours the other day, it was neither in the contents, nor the pending, nor the declined box. It eventually reappeared, along with several comments it had gathered – maybe it was out their stealing other people’s comment boxes :-)

I am trying to get back to reading my friends after my illness and I had a few min last week but I like you had no comment box and some of the articles would come up with a title and a blank page. But as you can see I have a comment box today and I hope you find yours soon.

    Take care , Pam

Brought me to a chuckle. I feel good when people look at my work, but it feels even better to receive their feedback. When Triond is down the views take a dip. The next day I feel like I need to play catch-up.

I had the same problem and also could not see my profile, I just had to shut down and later everything was fine.

This has happened to me also. I just have to rely on my friends knowing I read even tho sometimes can’t comment.

Happened to me also Martie many times in fact. It always comes back eventually sometimes I had to reboot first though. Still cannot leave a comment from my account though and must leave comments as a guest. Have tried everything to fix it because it is a pain to have to enter the required information every time I leave a comment but that’s Triond for me.

I have submitted articles to have them ‘disappear’ and be neither published, rejected nor returned to drafts. They are simply …GONE!

I re-write the article from Desktop folder and re-submit, and instantly, BOTH articles (exactly the same as I write ‘offline’ and ‘tweak’ online via Online-Editor) appear.
I have to delete one and leave of the other.

Another quirk of late; articles that again, disappear from Dashboard view but are found on the ‘net, replete with comments. I have no idea what is happening here.

In all cases the anomaly resolves itself within a day or so but with such foolery taking place it is no wonder writers that used to get mega-hits are barely getting dozens of views..

I think we all have some difficulties such as disappearing articals and missing comment boxes from time to time. But, you have expressed the problem so well. like this post.

Comment box disappearing happened to me once, but got it back after an hour. Don’t worry…your comment box will soon appear an all of us r waiting to see your comments.

It happens to me sometimes but it’s been fixed quickly so far.
