What Works on Triond

Write information people want.

Sounds too simple, doesn’t it? Write what people want to read. But what do people want to read?

What do you look up on the Internet? Information!

Many readers are learning something for the first time. How-to information is a big hit.

I have a few articles that have high views and have earned some money. And most of them are what others would like to learn. My highest viewed article is Packing Light For A Seven-Day Cruise. I wrote the article after I went on my first cruise and thought it might help others. My other higher viewed articles are all about travel also: Top Walt Disney World Tips, Your First Cruise and First Time Cruise Help. I wrote all the articles after my first time on a cruise or on a trip to WDW. I wanted to condense what I had learned into a short article for other first timers.

What about humor? Everyone likes a break from reality and often times humor is a great release from stress. Funny thing that my two top humorous articles are also travel related: Top 10 Stupid Questions to Ask On A Cruise and 15 Strange Items To Pack For A Cruise.

See anything else in the two articles above? Top 10 lists are a huge hit! They are usually short and interesting. Lists of best books, movies, people, Triond articles or authors or pictures are all popular just the same as the worst of anything lists.

If you’re just starting on Triond, don’t worry. Write what you know about or what interests you. I’ve written quite a few articles on subjects I’ve researched for me or my family. Then I turned that research into articles: Top 10 Taxed States or American Flag Etiquette.

I’ve even tried my hand at poetry, recipes and pictures! You’ll be surprised what’s out in the world that is waiting for you to write about!

There are so many subjects you can write on and so many ways do interest your readers. All you have to do is start!

Good luck!
