What Triond Will and Will Not Publish When It Comes to Sex

I’m a writer who writes about writing flash fiction. A lot of my flash fiction stories deal with sexuality. How far will Triond go?

“Mr. Hogan, you have several stories about sexuality on Triond.  If I may name a few.  ‘Girls Kissing Girls”, ‘Girls Loving Girls’, ‘Sex Videos’, ’Black Stockings’, ‘The Last Nude Photos’, ‘Girls Gone Wild’, ‘The Topless Dancer”, and the recently published ‘Orgasm’.  How do you do it?  How do you get past the censors?”

“Well, Hallelujah, the people at Triond are not censors they’re business people.  They put Yahoo Ads around my work.  They want work that will draw people in without offending them.  Now my stories deal with sexuality but are written in a non-pornographic way without profanity.  Why writers can’t write about sex without profanities is beyond me.”

“So you’re basically saying that sex is not dirty.”

“Absolutely.  Sex is definitely not dirty.  You don’t need dirty words to describe it.”

“You’ve got genital to genital sex going on in your stories and oral sex, too.  How do you get away with that?”

“It’s not about getting away with anything.  It’s about writing about what people actually do.”

“In your latest publication on Triond, ‘A Flash Fiction Story: Orgasm’, you have two students performing oral sex on each other.”

“Your point being?”

“Nothing.  Just making an observation.”
