Want to write a top article for Triond? You gotta know what’s hot in today’s online world!
Let’s face it… it’s hard to write a good article that will receive thousands of pageviews a day. How do you know what is popular on the internet? Here are some helpful hits to make sure your article is relevant and becomes popular.
Discuss events and news that occur quickly after they happen. I enjoy writing articles about the newest technologies and cool news. Consider writing about the newest political news or important world events. The more controversial or hip, the better. Be sure to act quickly as old news is often ignored.
I tend to surf national news web sites to see what is going on today and see if I have an opinion on the topic. If its interesting or debatable, I publish it.
Google Trends [link] will show you the top searches on Google. This is updated live to show you what the current hot topics are. Write about these or include these keywords as these are the top results from the top search engine. You can also view the top searches for days past.
Following Google Trends is a great way to catch hot news stories as they happen. Since the results are live, you can see what people are reading about now.

Triond Hot Content and Hot Tags
Viewing what is popular on the Triond home page is a sure way to get tons of pageviews. This will show you what your audience is interested in and wishes to read about. Be sure to contribute something that is useful and adds to what has already been posted.
I like to follow the top authors and see what they are writing about. This usually inspires me to write something that is unique to me but applies to what the community is reading.
Following these basic guidelines will allow you to write interesting, informative, and relevant articles. The best thing to remember is to write clearly and in a way that will capture the attention of your audience. With luck, you will see your article on the Hot Content list and watch the pageviews flow in.
Happy writing!

Very well written. But not everyone wants to write about the hottest trends — or read them. The page views may not be spectacular for articles that aren’t “hot,” but they keep coming in long after the the hot topics are old news and long forgotten.
