What on Earth is Going on with Triond?
What on earth is going on with Triond – or is it just something to do with my server?
What on earth is going on with Triond – or is it just something to do with my server? For the past few weeks I have been having difficulty signing into Triond. When I do manage to get into my home page I cannot make much sense of it as ‘friends news and messages are often superimposed one on top of the other and the log in logo is constantly repeated down the page. Baffling and annoying! I am already signed in DUH!
It hasn’t been much of a hardship for me because at the moment I am trying to concentrate on getting my blog Geri’s World back of the ground and as I am not a high content producer (or as I prefer to say) I am not a prolific writer. There is less stress on my creative abilities and I suppose that suits my nature. Considering that I occassionally hide from my computer when it puts my head away.
However I do like to try and keep up with other writers in Triond, Admittedly I manage to keep up with some of my oldest Triond buddies through places like Twitter and Stumbleupon but there are times i would just like to get in here! I am very proud of my wee blog Geri’s World I feel a sense of ownership of it. Triond though, feels like my home base, my community and it is nice to touch base now and then if you know what I mean?
So, I am just wondering what on earth is going on with Triond or are these problems only particular to me? Has anyone else been having problems with their home page or with signing in? I feel myself getting highly agigtated over this state of affairs and rather than hit the wall with my laptop I am wondering if anyone is in a similar pridicament with Triond – my sympathies and do you have any advice?

It’s a problem I had with explorer – since I use opera I don’t have that problem anymore …

I have had a problem with slow pages pulling up and being timed out. I am not sure what is going on.

I used Firefox, and it crashed sometimes when I try to read some of my friends’ articles. It’s very irritating also when I have to sit there and watch a commercial video before I can even read the article..You are not alone!

Yes I use firefox too Icy and it often crashes or times out! You are right the adverts are often very annoying …they often overpower the article and if your not careful you have these stupid video ads running grr!

I use Firefox too and it has happened a lot recently, as well as at work when I pop in to see my stats (but then we still use IE 7 there!).
As for the ads, well, since Triond signed up with Tribal Fusion this has been the order of the day. However, you do want to get paid more, don’t you?

It was down due to a server outrage but it’s fine now. Give you “liked it”.
