Welcome Triond Newbies! It is So Fun to Read What You Have to Say

Each time I log into Triond I look for, and find, new writers. This is a wonderfully fun experience.

Okay, we were all there once, new to Triond, not sure what this was all about or what we would find.  I now find it so much fun to read the wonderful writings of the Newbies.  Of course, they won’t be new for long but there are always new writers, new friends, new styles, and they will always be fun to find.

When you log into Triond, how often do you explore other writings?  It’s interesting to go into that area of the site and just flip through the pages, seeing what others have written.  Something catches your interest and makes you say, “Hmm, I wonder what else they have written.” So you go to their profile, and guess what?  They have only been writing for a short period of time.  Maybe it is the first thing they have written, maybe the third or fourth, but now you are interested in seeing what else they have to say.  I like to send these folks a little message welcoming them, letting them know I enjoy their work and have added them as a friend so I can follow their writing.  This is one of my favorite past times here on triond.

Another fun way to find new writers is through friends.  Just the other day Glynis sent me a message saying ” Hey, check out this new writer.”  So I did, and you know what, they really do have a wonderful talent.  I might not have found them right away if it hadn’t been for that message so Thank you Glynis for bringing them to my attention!   One thing I have noticed here though, sometimes to see a persons talent for writing you have to overlook a few mistakes, whether it be spelling or grammar, or something else.  I mean come on, really, everyone makes mistakes and with a little FRIENDLY guidance, these writers will learn to spot their mistakes and correct them.  It’s not how they spell it, it’s what they have to say that matters.   So, get out there and explore a little, you might just discover some wonderful talent!

I want to introduce you to a few of the New Writers here that I have found and would love to hear of more that you have found.  In the spirit of Glynis Smy’s Triond Bandwagon  I would love to find those of you who are new to Triond.  Go ahead, don’t be shy, post a comment, tell me who you are and be sure to post with your Triond Credentials so we can all visit you!  Know someone who’s new?  I would love to meet them!  Share them with me,  and be sure to check out some of the other’s listed here!

So, now to introduce you to a few of my new Triond Friends:

Christy, that was a really cool thing to do.You reached out to me a while back, and I was frustrated with Triond and you settled me down a bit.I still don’t have that many readers, but that’s because I don’t know all the stumble stuff and things like that.
I also like to help newcomers newer than me feel welcomed here.Triond friends are the best!!!!!!!
I only know 2 of those you mentioned, and one other name is familiar,so I will make a point to stop by and check them out.

Okay, so I’m feeling a bit left out….
This is (seriously now) a very handy little page where I can investigate all the newbies and peek in on them as they stare at their keyboards unaware….
Nice (if not shameful) plugs. Sort of a karmic circle of success here, ehh?

ThanX, as another NEWbie, I’ve already found that browsing Triond is W A Y more fun than I thought it could be. I look forward to reading my friends articles, and browsing gives me ideas, of what I want to do (and yeah.. sometimes what I DONT want to do..) It’s a great forum for improving my writing, and “there’s always a few” but the majority of the community on Triond is overwhelmingly supportive and constructive in their opinions. Hey-thanks Christy! What I nice friend! ;D
