Web Content: A Simple Guide

How to write good content for your website? Here’s some simple guide for a beginner.

Once you opened a site, you need to keep it updated to secure your regulare visitors to keep coming to your site. Therefore, here is a simple guidance for you who just started opening a website.

  1. Put appropriate content that is related to your website. avoid using curse or harsh words that might hurt your visitors’ feelings. Do not use all capitals “LIKE THIS” or multicaps “lIkE tHiS”. It’s not only annoying, but will irritate the eyes of the reader.
  2. Keep it short and simple (KISS). Be precise and simple when updating. However, a one-sentence update can be annoying too. For example, “New affiliate!” It’s too short, and not a worth thing to read when people come to your site. Instead, try to say something like,  “Hello, how are you today? I hope you are enjoying your day. I’m so happy today because we have a new affiliate. Please welcome Summer Prist!” and then talk a bit about the website. It’s good to help promote your friends, right?
  3. Do not show your emotions too much. Since my articles revolves around websites related to graphic and review request, so I think this point is important. Try to not show your emotions too much, as in posting “emo” topics for the straight five days. Visitors will stop visiting your site because they want to avoid from being influenced by your feelings.

These are three simple guides for you to follow. I hope it helps you guys.
