The fact that you are reading this article must mean that you do want your articles read by thousands.

But thousands of what, presumably you mean people, but do you mean just any people? Or are you looking for a specific set of people who will want to read your articles?

Are you just thinking about the number of page views of your articles, or would you like the thousands of people that want to read your articles to actually take an interest in what you have written?

You can get thousands of people to look at all the titles of your articles by book marking them on all the appropriate sites, but reading the titles does not mean that they will read your articles.

Just ask yourself this searching question, would you read an article that didn’t capture your attention and keep you totally interested?

So, in that case, why would you expect thousands of other people to want to read your articles, unless they were able to feel their attention was captured by them and they were kept totally interested?

I think that you are now starting to understand, exactly what I am trying to say to you. It is not just a matter of wanting your articles to be read by thousands.

The only way to get thousands of people to read your articles is for you to produce articles that are really absorbing and full of very interesting material that they will want to read and then tell their friends about.

Just take a look at some of the articles in my portfolio or in any of the other well established writers in this community and you will see for yourself how to write quality, compelling pieces of work.

By quality, I mean that the article will be well written, utilising excellent grammar and would have been spell checked and thoroughly proof read before it was published.

But, of course, if what you want is just thousands of page views for your articles, then it is really quite easy to train monkeys to do that, but don’t expect them to leave any comments or feedback about the quality of your work.

Yes, it takes some effort to produce articles that get people’s attention and then keep them interested, but the effort is well worth it and all the rewards that you receive, because of it, will prove that to you. Writing is a wonderful experience when you do it well.

Continue to want your articles to be read by thousands of people, but put the real effort in first to make it happen.
