Using Triond’s Handy Fan Tab to Track – You Guessed It – Your Fans

Triond provides writers with a handy Fan tab that makes seeing who likes your work that much easier. But there’s more to the Fan tab then just being … a fan of it.

Triond’s Dashboard points writers to the Community tab and once you’ve clicked on that, you have the option of clicking on “Fans” to see who likes your work.

Did you know that there’s more to the Fan tab than meets the eye? If you’ve been writing for Triond for any length of time and if you are anything like me, you probably swing by the Fan tab to see who your fans are and then “Add” them. This, of course, is done by simply clicking on Add.

But, if you’ve grown tired of sifting through all the names and clicking Add, there’s a neat way to streamline the process.

When you click on the Community tab, you see options: Newsfeed, Inbox, Outbox, Friends, and Fans. Now, before you start clicking Add, look over to the far right. You will see “Sort by.” If you click on the downward pointing arrow, you will see “Newest First” at the very bottom. Select this option and now all your Fans (the people you want to “Add”) are sitting at the top, where you can easily add them, over sifting through multiple rows.

Now, scroll to the bottom of the page, and again, look on the right. You’ll see “Show Rows.” You’ll want to choose “48.” Why look at 12 when you can look at 48 at one go? By doing this, you see more of your fans on one page, which again makes adding them much easier.

It’s the little things in life that make the job so much easier.
