One way to boost your Triond page views is to submit a blog post to a blog carnival. Now, you may be asking: “How would a blog post increase my Triond page views?”.
You may have heard of pillar posts. These are blog posts that are usually more comprehensive and, more importantly, you can use these poststo incorporate links to your Triond articles, so that ultimately you drive traffic, boosting your Triond page views.
By submitting a pillar post to a blog carnival, you boost blog readership and gain a following for your Triond articles.
When you think about it, it makes good sense: you write a blog post around a certain topic, you link to your Triond articles that discuss that topic. Now, a couple of exciting things happen.
Because blog carnivals are hosted on popular sites, the traffic potential is magnified.

This is a good idea. I used to do it but recently I haven’t had time. Maybe I should start again.

I am already doing this. But not very effectively. I will start it again. Thanks..

Hi Fornis,
It’s a good rule of thumb to try to submit a couple of articles each month. Admittedly, in our busy schedules, this is hard to do.
I have two neat tricks that I utilize: I install the blog carnival widget on my blogs–that way I just have to click on it to go to the site, over having to type it into my browser, and two, I save all the carnivals that I want to submit to, right at Blog Carnival–that way I have the list at my fingertips.

I’d not heard of a blog carnival before, another great article.

I am such a novice at social networking and promotion. This was a great article, and I would love to try a blog carnival, but I really do not understand what and how to do it. It would be awesome if you could write another article further explaining what a carnival is, how does one find one, etc.. Thanks for the great advice. I am going to do some research on my own, but it is always easier to have someone that has done it before help you through it. I already have started a blog and started posted my work and some friends work on it, but I am kind of stuck now. I really do not know what to do with it. Any advice, future articles, etc.. would be great. I have added you as a friend so that I can get your feed.

I recently wrote a pillar post on literary symbolism and a YouSayToo blog with a backlink to a poem. I submitted it to a blog carnival, and hope to get more views.
