Update on the Author Contest: Final Call for Submissions

Many Triond authors are aware that I am holding an author contest. I wrote an article giving the details: Contest: Which of Your Triond Articles Has the Highest Page Views.

Update on Author Contest

• The response has been wonderful. Many authors posted their article URLs, along with their highest page views at the bottom of the contest article, thus drawing attention to their articles and (hopefully) experiencing increased reader interest and page views.

• Other writers contacted me and gave me their stats because they experienced difficulty posting the information at the bottom of the article. This could have been due to revamping of the Writinghood site.

• Still others wrote, asking me for the contest details and I encouraged them to read through the contest article for instructions.

• Finally, some wondered when the contest would come to a close.

Final Call

The author contest will close the end of March, so if you haven’t entered yet now is the time to do so. Simply go to the original contest article and add your article URL and page views for that particular article.

I will consider an extension depending on the feedback I receive.

Remember, the winner will be interviewed and I will publish an article detailing the interview, which is a great way for others to get to know you and is an opportunity to bump up your online presence.

As I mentioned in the original article, I will also post about this at Write and Earn a Living and link back to your relevant author info.

It will be exciting to see who wins the designation “King or Queen of Content.”
