Triond’s Help Threads Really Help

In order to keep as up to date as possible with what is going on here at Triond I try to visit the forum’s at least a couple of times a week. While I have enjoyed and even learned a thing or two from most of the threads I find the Help threads particularly interesting.

If you are seriously trying to improve your writing skills and have not looked at these help threads, then I suggest you do so.

The help threads will help any writer, make their articles better. You submit a link to an article, poem, or creative work and members of Triond read your article and give suggestions on how to improve the particular piece you submitted to them.

What I like most is that the comments are concise, and right on the point. There are no “nice work” comments here. The readers on this thread help you correct grammar and punctuation mistakes and help overcome awkward wording.

This is a service offered free of charge and the members here are volunteering their time and efforts to help others improve their writing article by article.

All you need to get this invaluable help is to have an honest desire to improve an article, and the ability to listen to suggestions with an open mind.

While all of the comments and suggestions I have read are written in a very mild and gentle tone, they are not for the most part comments meant to stroke you ego. They are comments meant to help you become a better writer.

There is nothing smarmy or insincere about these threads. They are genuine and constructive and well worth looking into especially if you have some difficulty in grammar or punctuation. I find the addition of these threads to our forum a wonderful plus.

Please, do yourself a favor and see for yourself what these help threads are all about. Even if you don’t wish to submit an article or poem you can benefit from reading what they have to say about the work of others.
