This is opinion based.
I started using another online website other than Triond.com that pays you to write essays and articles and what ever you wanted to write about. The brand X website was Associated Content.com. It is almost the complete opposite of Triond. It is super strict with the editing. If something you submitted makes over $500 they have to report you to the IRS and you then had to fill out a sheet to verify your citizenship, your age and so and so forth.
I am sticking with Triond. Not only is more user friendly with the editing clauses and in general, navigating around Triond is a breeze. With Associated Content all submissions had to have at least 400 words, and Associated Content waits a week or more to publish your work. Triond doesn’t matter the amount of words, and it is usually published with in one businesses day. But I will admit that Associated Content did pay better. But to get to your pay you had to jump through so many hoops, to get what $1.50 or so.
And also with Associated Content there were two payment options, up front or based on how many views you get. By paying you by how many views you get, you have to get 1000 views to get your pay. Now to be honest I am not all about the money. I want to publish things online, take advantage of the fact that I can. I can get my opinion heard. But waiting up to a week or more to get my first submission published with after going through the criteria only might get published. No thank you sir, I am sticking with Triond. It is easy to use, fun to use. But yet it does not pay as well. But hey if I was in for the money I would have stayed with Associated Content. So I do not recommend Associated Content.

Yes this is true you have to be an American Citizen to publish on AC.

I’ve published two entries on AC. I can’t tell yet whether I will like it or not. So far, e-how has been paying the best for me. Still not alot. We’ll see.

So true. The problem with AC is that they are U.S. based. But U.S. tax laws aren’t their fault. Triond is based in Israel, if I’m not mistaken, so it’s open to everyone. And yes, AC is very strict. I have yet to see how strict Triond can get. I’m pretty new here. Great job on the article by the way.

I’ve wondered about AC for a while now, thanks for the review and comparison. I liked it.
