Formatting your article can be a pain in the bum.

Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Link, Unlink, Align. ARGHRRRRRR.

Well, ARGHRRRRRR no more, (: Uncle boisson’s here to help, with his 10 tips on posting quickly and efficiently.

Keyboard Shortcuts

This is a simple one, one that lots of people can really neglect. Here’s a few to get you started:

Formatting:

  • Ctl+B – Bold
  • Ctl+I – Italics
  • Ctl+U – Underline
  • Ctl+[1 to 5] – Headings 1-5.

Other Useful Functions/Keys:

  • Ctl+Z – Undo
  • Ctl+Y – Redo
  • Ctl+C – Copy
  • Ctl+V – Paste
  • Ctl+X – Cut

You should also take note of the Home and End Keys on your keyboard, which bring your type-cursor to the front and end of a line, respectively. I suggest you try them out now. Remember to comment if you have any problems.
