For the last few days the running total of monthly earnings on my dashboard page on Triond has remained static despite page views trickling in at even slightly more than the normal rate. I checked the earnings for each of the days so far this month (using content -> published, then setting the date range to each day this month in turn) and it seems that although earnings have been credited against the most frequently viewed pages for 1st, 2nd and 3rd September, no earnings have been credited for the 4th September onwards. Normally those earnings are credited part way through the day after the one on which they were earned, but for the second or third day running I’ve logged in to find no change – earnings frozen at where they were earlier this week.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I’m hoping this is simply a bug with the website and earnings (meagre though they are) will be credited soon, rather than a sign that Triond is with-holding earnings for some other reason. It is a shame this is happening now, just as one of my articles has unexpectedly taken off and is getting over 100 views per day!
Only time will tell, I guess.

It seems to happen every month now, especially around the fifth, when we get our monthly statements, and then again around pay day. It never used to be like this. The problem is, we don’t seem to get our earnings for the views we had on those particular days.

I record my daily earnings in an excel sheet. This shows me what my earnings per content, referrals and Google are daily. I also record my page hits to see the correlation.
Yes for the past two months around the monthly statement time, there seems to be a halt in the daily payment cron.
I suspect that Triond must have over 100,000 authors that they calculate earnings for and send email. This must take a couple days at least.

Just to echo what Pablina says, it does seem to happen on those two days.

Thanks for this information. I am new to Triond so I still not quite sure how its suppose to work.

Thanks, all, for the replies. It’s good to know that it affects everyone, that I’m not being singled out, and that “normal service is resumed” (as they say) after a few days. However I’m concerned about what Pablina says that the views for those days never get credited. I’ll have to keep a closer check over the next few days and if I think views aren’t being credited I’ll certainly chase it up.

Anytime something seems weird on Triond, you can usually blame it on a bug. LOL. It looks like the earnings have been posted finally.

The first five days of September my earnings has reached so far to 0.04 but today it went up to 0.30 and the views increased too.

I’m just getting insansely low earnings despite having an article go insane and pick up 200 – 500 views a day…

I have not really noticed this but then again, I have been so busy I have not checked daily.
