Triond and Bukisa: The Two Best Online Opportunities for Writers Wanting to Earn Money

No kidding, ordinary people can write their hearts out and earn real money on the Internet. Some smart, forward thinking online publishers has improved the share the wealth concept by sharing profits with average people who desire to write and publish their finished masterpieces on the publisher’s website. I do it and you can too! You just need to know the right information to start out with.

Writing for an income on the Internet isn’t for everyone even though anyone with the desire to write can take advantage of these kinds of opportunities and earn an extra income for him or herself. Having the options to write for royalties, residual income or for flat-fees is a choice that every individual writer will need to ask his or herself. Whatever the answer is for yourself, answer this question; “Are you earning any money now on your writing” and it will make your decision a little easier.

There are dozens online publishing opportunities on the Internet, but the few highest paying opportunities are far out of the average writer’s reach. Internet multimedia publishers that host a Blogging service, add new features regularly, listen to their writing community concerns and suggestions, provide great customer service, and promote their websites on the most popular search engines offer the average writer the best opportunity to make money.

Triond and Bukisa are the only two online publishers that I personally write for and publish with. There have been several other online publishers that I have written for and published with, but disappointment after disappointment with the quality of the service or the quality of its community caused me to re-think my membership with those Internet publishers. The search was on to locate, just one online publisher that would stand behind their product and give its community of content producers focused guidance and support.

After quite a bit of research using the top tier search engines that the Internet has to offer, I discovered Triond. Yes, Triond was the first and probably would have been my last attempt at trying to writing for an income, if it had succeeded in disappointing me like the others had succeeded in doing.

Soon, I quickly realized that Triond was different than the other publishers. They actually stand behind their product and the Triond family of content producers shows it everyday in the forum, comments and private messaging back and forth to one another.

I started writing for Triond in September 2007, and just managed to publish a couple of articles and a few poems that earned me my most prized payday, a whole $6.07 for the month. Wow, oh boy, what a payday…No I am not kidding. It was the first time that I knew that this type of work was something that I could do for real and make some money to boot.

Of course today, I earn many, many times the earnings that I first was managing to earn in the early days. Just like with anything that is done successfully, it requires patience, dedication and education to succeed. You cannot depend on other people to do your work, read your work or promote your work without you first learning how the business works inside and out. You must be willing to pay your dues and build your reputation, before anyone else is going to be willing to take you seriously as a writer or anything else that you choose to do. If this line of work is not for you, then there are plenty of other paying Internet opportunities that you might like to do better than writing.

Yes, it does require more than just weaving words in a way that the words like waves would just roll off of the pages. To become a successful writer you must first identify what success means to you, because to me and to others, your goals may be different than ours. Setting realistic goals that can be achieved in steps with each step becoming a bit more challenging as the potential residual earnings are becoming more rewarding as you continue to write and publish new content on a regular basis is a wise choice to choose.

After publishing your works with the publishers of your choice, then you must promote your works on the Internet. You can also print flyers, business cards or just use the tried, tested and proven marketing method of word-of-mouth to let other people know where to find your work online. Without learning and most especially implementing at least a couple of the most basic marketing techniques, then the odds of your work ever being read by enough people to generate you a nice income goes straight out the window.

Belong to Facebook, Myspace, Digg, StumbleUpon or any social network or forum on the Internet? If you do, then you have tools that you can use to promote your writing to other members in your networking circles. Be sure that you read and follow all of the rules and policies regarding promoting your own business and interests on the social networks in, which you are a member of. Avoid spamming and if you do not understand what spamming is, then take the time to Google It.

When it comes down to marketing, just remember to create a marketing plan to set a course that will steer your career on a path leading to success. Be creative. Try new things. Find new ways to reach people that no one else has taken advantage of and be the first on your block to test it and succeed by using it. If something that you try doesn’t work, then don’t feel rejected and quit, but instead, dust yourself off and try a new approach. This is how you learn the business to survive the present, so to succeed in the future.

Bukisa is an online publisher that is very similar to Triond, in that Bukisa shares its profits from the advertising revenue that your published content earns the company. They provide the host servers, Internet tools, publishing tools and company support, and you write the content and publish it on their website and everyone earns money working together. It is a win-win for everyone involved.

For writers who expect and sometimes demand that these online publishers payout more of their profits than the royalties that these companies offer, then consider setting up your own website and wear all of the hats of operating a successful business, and then you can enjoy one-hundred percent of the profits. Trust me, it is much harder than you may think it is; and it cost quite a bit of money to pay for the overhead that is associated with managing these types of businesses. I have personally experienced both sides of the business and the writing side of the business is the easiest responsibility in the publishing business, so consider us as lucky.

The best thing for new writers to do, is to choose one publisher and start reading through the hot content or most popular content on the publisher’s website to learn what types of content perform the best, and then start writing about topics that people are wanting to read. Do not copy other writers’ works and call it your own, because that is called copyright infringement and once word gets out, your reputation is ruined.

It is OK and even quite smart to write for both Triond and Bukisa, because both are fantastic companies to write for and publish with, and by writing for both publishers at the same time you can earn two paychecks per month, instead of just one paycheck. It makes paying bills a lot easier. Consider using a different pen name for each publisher to enable your writing to reach the broadest audience as possible.

Join Triond and start making some extra money right away.

Join Bukisa and start building yourself a good Internet reputation and earn an extra income from royalty residuals each and every month.
