Triond: A Dot of Freedom

Expressing your heart’s desire through writing is a liberating experience.

It was an invitation from a friend to view his published articles and make some comments on them.  It was an enjoyable activity.  But after some visits to his articles he suggested that I might as well register at Triond.  At first I took it as a joke.  What has gotten to my friend’s head getting me in this adventure?  I told him, I don’t have the capacity and technical expertise as a writer even for a beginner.  But his plain answer was “writing skill is but a matter of practice”.  And he further said that an article done today will not be spoiled.  Those were very encouraging words.  Full of doubts and apprehensions that I would be writing for a lifetime and not even one article published, I registered at triond with not an article to submit.

But after a couple of nights of working with my keyboard, I made one article at last and submitted on the online editor.  When I received the first publication notice it was an unexpected great feeling.  As if I started a new journey, not greater than life but as exciting and even more challenging.

The skill I thought I don’t have was there all along in dormancy and perhaps with constant practice and lots of dedication I would be able to improve my writing skill even if it would take a little longer.  I believe I have all the time I need.

It’s a liberating experience to write what your heart wishes to express.  Letting out the thoughts in one’s mind through writing is a mental exercise which gives respite in the mind’s restlessness.  It can be just throwing a question you longed to ask for so long but you do not know when and whom to ask.  For self expression, Triond offers one of the best frame.

The wide range of category even encourages and inspires the neophytes as well as the seasoned writers to write more and more articles as much as they can while enjoying at the same time the lack of restrictions to choose and discuss the topics they want.  The expectations of monetary benefit on this task is but a natural anticipation but the know-how it brings could mean more than the value of money can give.

I am very grateful for my friend who invited to this spot.  Triond is like a bundle of freedom that comes in a dot.

Very well written, clear and precise. Writing is but a form of expression and am sure it will get better with effort and time. Read and write a lot – they will work wonders! Good luck.

just as i told you, cluves. you have the germ of the talent to write. you know what made me think so? because i always believe, as i knew from my experience that writing is simply putting into words what we have in our minds. those who have functioning coconut shell, definitely, can write.

    I felt like you did.
I never considered myself a “publishable” writer.

When my first few articles were accepted I felt really good.

….Then I realized Triond pretty much lets you publish anything.
……….. And yet I still feel good

Your writing has certainly improved if it was any less than excellent.
