Write more, share more, earn more. Learn some more tips and many techniques to get more exposure and traffic to your articles and a bigger Paypal payment at the end of the month.
If Microsoft changed the way we produce and manage information, if Google changed the way we search information, Triond changed and still changes the way we publish information. Combining a great team of editors with attractive websites with distinct categories and a fair revenue sharing model, Triond became the most attractive place to publish digital articles and still keeps the title to this day while competitors struggle to get more readers and writers.
As a writer how can you accomplish more at Triond, is there any golden key?
When someone publishes anything on Triond, they have always the financial factor in mind and for good reason, because it has become the leading reason to write more and publish more. The amount of money you make is the best indicator of your success as a writer and as an indicator of how good you are at pleasing readers.
First tip – Write more. The more content you publish, the more your readers can do. Simple. It takes a lot of time and effort however to accomplish this, with lots of discipline too. Start by opening Google Docs and start a new document. Now write about 1000 titles. This way you make enough tittles for an entire month. Now just write an article with about 2000 or 3000 characters for each title then publish it on Triond. Easy said, almost never done. Each article will take you between 5 and 10 minutes. If you want to count in real time the characters in your article use Cyber Styling Character count tool.
Second tip – Write only about interesting subjects that pleases the general public and not a select group of people. Sure you have some interesting hobbies but how many people like to know the story of the statue of the place X? Almost no one. Instead focus on learning and writing about subjects such as Money, Business, Technology, Relationships, Insurance, Cars, Travel, Hotels and Sex. I see the pages that fit in the Hot Content section are the ones that please the highest number of people. Such content is both text and beautiful images and almost never either text or images.
Third tip – Be smart when sharing. Not all social networks will deliver you traffic. I used to share all my content with ALL social networks you can imagine. Sometimes they were over 50, but about 40 of them never sent me a visitor until today, so why even bother? Thanks to Triond widget that tells you priceless information about the sources of your traffic, you can see where you can get more of your traffic, and then just focus on that source. My greatest source of traffic is still Stumble Upon, followed by Outbrain, then by Bing, then Google and so one. Stumble Upon and search engines will deliver you almost 95% of all the traffic you will get. Some people say they have huge success with Twitter and with Digg, but you do not see one million people saying that. It’s a lucky one or two.
Forth tip – Make friends and use social networks to attract readers. It’s very easy to make a link in your social network profiles to your Triond profile. First see the rank if your Triond profile. Use a rank checker and a backlink checker to see how famous you are, then improve those numbers. The best social networks are GOLD. Facebook + Hi5 + Tagged + Myspace + Orkut. Focus on these ones, make a link to your Triond profile, this way it’s always the latest articles your friends will see and not always the same one, then just make friends, join groups and so on. Dating websites are another good source of traffic. They are a good source of fish looking to eat information about dating. Make a link to your best dating article, place it on your profile and then make money with the visits.
If you have more time, you might consider searching for the best article websites, making an article (one is enough, more than that, a waste of time…) and then making a link to your Triond profile. You get both traffic and a good back link since Google loves this type of website. Ezine articles, Go articles, Articles base are good ones to start. You can do the same with Forums, however it takes longer since there are about 1000 forums for each article directory. Ah, do not use the same article in every directory, Google will not index the same article twice.
Blogs you make are another killing spree in traffic, links and exposure. Live Spaces, Blogger, Live Journal, Wordpress.com, and all the others are good sources of Tune, Jellyfish, Red fish and almost every other type of fish known by man. Use them, feed them, and then once they grow, they will feed you!
Other less known places can be used too. Now you can make your own Google profile, add a link to your profile, let Google index it and when people search for you name, there you are… and your link to Triond too. Google CSE creates a unique page for each search engine you make. Add a link on the description to your best Triond articles or to your profile too. Create a search engine for each category of content (cars, travel, hi tech), then let Google add them to their list of other CSE engines.
Commenting on other people’s blogs can send more traffic to your articles. Make a comment worth reading and people will want to hear more from you. Start with less popular blogs. The blogger will be more than happy to have your comment as a first comment, which is the case for less known blogs. Go to Google Blog search and start harvesting blogs to comment on.
Twitter is another mighty place to get traffic. I do not have particular success with it as I do not have may followers yet. Twitter is just not my favourite place. You can have Triond automatically posting on Twitter for you, but you can send direct messages to people to visit your articles, you can write your Triond profile on your Twitter profile and you can even write many good twits that will point at your best Triond articles. Do not worry because your followers will not see the same article over and over again. The chances you have of getting a click to the same article twice per follower are very low.
Which place is still to be used as traffic? One really HUGE? Youtube. Have you ever considered posting articles as videos? Some people prefer to read articles in the form of video. How? You can use software to transform your articles in video and then just let Youtube send you traffic. Make a link on the video, place a link on your profile and even comment on similar videos with a link to your site and enjoy the outcome. Text to video software exists, choose a free one, the one you love the most.
Well, that’s all for now. Try this, then comment your experiences.
