Orange glitches are a problem for Triond users especially when the grammar and spelling on your articles is correct, and you’ve run the spell checker a few times. Sometimes, the trick is to Add the word to the dictionary, but even then, there are those annoying orange glitches on my articles.
Why are there so many orange glitches on my page? Especially when the grammar and spelling is correct, and I have run the spell-checker a number of times on my articles before submitting them. The trick is to add the word to the dictionary but even then, the orange glitch doesn’t go away. Is anyone else having the same problem that I am having? Now here’s the most strangest thing. I have read a few funny articles published on Purple Slinky and have noticed a lot of misspelled words, but the orange glitch is not highlighting the word. Anyone can spell a word incorrectly. It might just be a typo. But it is important to run that spell checker a few times before submitting an article to Triond. In addition, there is also a feature called submit fix for those of you who have submitted an article and want to go back and edit. Even after the article has been published, you can still click on submit fix, re-edit your work and submit publication. Then, you will receive an email from Triond saying that your article has been re-directed for publication, which means that it has been published on another website. So back to the orange glitch, does anyone have an idea as to how to get rid of that little glitch on my page? Several highlighted orange words on an article doesn’t look too professional if you ask me.
If this is a common issue for Triond writers, maybe we should sign a petition. I have not seen anything related to this matter on the help section of the menu. Glitches do not make our articles stand out especially when they are all over the page and in orange. If the spell checker doesn’t recognize a word, we should add it to the dictionary. But sometimes you spell the word correctly like I did on my last article on procrastination and the spell checker marked it as wrong. The spell checker told me that I must capitalize it. Procrastination doesn’t have to be capitalized unless it is the first word of a sentence or the title of an article.
After running the spell-checker on this article, the spell checker has found no misspellings. Now, I tried to run it again for the second time, and it highlighted procrastination in yellow. Procrastination is spelled correctly so I am not going to worry. Let’s see if there are anymore annoying orange glitches if my article does get published.

OK. You are right sometimes spell checker of triond doesn’t work. People who write a lot and fast do make some typo. It’s very obvious. The problem is who has the time to check the spell time and again. I believe it’s not the only thing that we do. Anyways… I’ll be more careful next time on. Thanks for your suggestion.

Hope nobody misunderstood me. I wrote this article to point out that orange glitch on my page and whether anyone knew how it could be fixed especially when I have run spell checker a few times and I know the word is correct.
But I don’t go to other writer’s page and edit their work. I am not a professional editor and don’t have the time to do it. Those articles that I did read on purple slinky had a few words spelled wrong and what caught my attention was the fact that the word was not highlighted in orange or red.

I have this problem. I agree it is annoying. Sometimes I erase the word in yellow and rewrite it. Sometimes it solves the problem.

What I do is click on the orange glitch even if my word is spelled correctly. That takes care of it.
