They Said It Couldn’t be Done
They said Triond Gold was doomed to Failure. They were wrong.
They said it wouldn’t work. They said it was a poorly conceived attempt by newcomers to the writing world to get “views” and make a penny here and there. It had been tried before they said, and failed and this plan too was doomed to failure.
While Triond Gold is a group made up almost entirely of new members, most of who have been with Triond less than six months, it hasn’t failed. In fact, in the few weeks since it’s inception it has continued to grow and help those new to the writing community.
The members of the group are not only viewing each others works, but they are directing up and coming writer’s to seek help on the forum’s and from more experienced writers. They are actively trying not only to improve their own writing but each others as well.
Yes, the are getting more views to their their work, but many of these views are due to their improving writing skills, and discovering some really talented and potential talented writers as well. Some of these new writer’s have made the Hot Content List here on Triond and attracted outside viewers who have become fans of their work.
Why has this group succeeded when others who have had the same idea in the past failed? There are many answers to that question.
First, because the person who proposed the idea was very determined to make it a success. The writer whose Trinod name is Goldrush2000, did not accept defeat when told that the idea would not work. Convinced that the plan was sound she was determined to see it work.
Second, the people who joined the guild understood from the onset that this was not a get rich quick scheme but would take time and a lot of effort to see their popularity as writers and their income begin to grow. They committed themselves to the idea that the Triond Gold Guild could and would work and have been very determined to read the work of others and to make approiate comments.
Third, the more experienced writer’s on Triond, even those who believed that this idea was doomed to failure, were willing to look at these new writer’s work, to make comments and to offer helpful suggestions on how these writer’s could improve their work. Their imput has been invaluable to both the writers and the success of the guild.
What has happened here is nothing short of phenomenal. It is the coming together of the efforts of the entire Triond community to improve the community as a whole.
Triond Gold has become for me a symbol of what writing should be all about. People who love their art encouraging and helping others become better at their craft while learning from one another.
In the end Triond will make us all richer, maybe not in financial terms but in human and artistic terms.
I for one am grateful and happy to be a part of this wonderful opportunity for helping a site I truly enjoy being a member of become better and every day.
Triond is truly a golden opportunity for all of it’s members.

Triond is definitely easy to navigate and provides the honest seeker with much opportunity. There is always someone willing to help, and that is good. But, you’re right, triond certainly doesn’t fall into the ‘get rich quick’ category. If people truly seek feedback, there is plenty to be had.

I have been here a year in a few months and couldnt see myself writting anywhere else .Triond isnt a bad site and is very sucessful.Good article.

A novel attempt and it will help the upcoming writers to earn a minimum guaranteed income.It will ensure and enhance co-operation at least among the new members.But from a larger perspective, I am not sure whether it will ensure quality content and there is no guarantee that a unique article will stand out among others.It is not a pessimistic view but that emanates from a practical point of view.Anyhow, striking gold through Triond Gold, is an idea in the right direction at least from the income point of view.Thanks for sharing.

You’re absolutely right and this guild has surely helped me to get into hot contents list. 8 of my articles has become hot content so far and I think it’s partially affected by this guild.
