Their Love That Makes You So
What makes you Move forward in life???
The hurt in your heart cuts like a knife,
It causes pain and inner strife.
But remember the joys and not the sorrow,
It helps you move into tomorrow.
For what you remember is the essence,
It helps assuage your conscience.
Helping you understand that that are,
Just like a shooting star.
Some people are in your life to make you fall,
While others to make you feel tall.
Still others are cruel but kind,
Who give you pain and joy of a later kind.
For what is gone is but the past,
The present will only today last.
But what you have in hand is your future,
That is your gift to train and nurture.
Its the same when you are in love,
You set foundation through One Above.
You start writing your script of life to be,
Which helps create actions of a memory.
Never regret falling in love,
It is a gift from Above.
They might stay, they might go,
But its their love that makes you so.
Remember the goodness, throw the tears,
Close your eyes, smile, kiss are fears.
For they were there based on the Above,
To share and give you the abundance of love.

I really enjoyed your poem. I agree that we have people in our lives that will try to knock us down, but luckily there are people around who are good for us and to us.
