Triond writers are as different as night and day; they are all unique in their own special way.
When I first arrived on Triond I was surprised by how friendly everyone was. I must admit that it was not at all what I’d expected; In fact it was much more. Not only did I quickly pick up some support but I was introduced to an abundance of writing material that was there for the reading.

The writers on Triond are as different as night and day, or race and skin tone, they are unique in their own special way. Not all of them are alike or even remotely similar and their work shows it. What they do all have in common though, is that they love to write, no-matter the subject. Since joining Triond I have come to respect these many different writers and so will you if given the chance.
However, some writers are overlooked because of their difference in style. You’ve all heard the saying, “You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.” that’s not true! If you like short stories and you found a writer that works for you, well don’t stop there because there might be another out there that you’ll enjoy just as much. There are so many writers that could touch you in many different ways. Maybe, you’ve just read two short stories and a poem and you found them not to your liking. Okay, so expand and read different types by different writers. If you’re a writer this can be an excellent learning tool for enhancing your writing skills. Everyone has his or her own writing style. Don’t judge all by one. Take the time and read works from other writers. Down below is a list of some different yet remarkable writers on Triond.
RJ Grant with a trip down memory lane for his witty and down-to-earth stories that always captures the readers attention with a feeling of Deja Vu. The funny but gnarly stories by Bojack that will make you laugh and cringe all at the same time, who is definitely a character in a half. Christine Ramsay with her humorous poems and short stories; which always brings a smile to my face. Inna Tysoe for her thought provoking articles on some of societies hidden and important issues, or Darren Goad for his mind-boggling poems. Will Gray for his deeply emotional writes. MJ Katz for her cute and funny stories on the most adventuress kitties of all times; SpiceGirl and Noodleman. For some very sweet and short poems Bernadette Louise. Darelene Mcfarlane who writes whatever she fancies and who also gave me my first comment and a young one on the block who shows so much promise is Jasin; he’s got style and flair.
If I have left your name out, it does not mean that I have left YOU out! So, please do not be offended. These are only a collection of different writers that I put together to show that Triond is a community of many different and terrific writers and all should be recognized as such. I hold none above or none below they are all writers. Take the time to expand and get to know the different styles and genre.

That was Good. I say HOOORAY!!
December 30th, 2008 at 5:05 pm
I agree also. When I first became interested in writing seriously, my teacher told me to read all kinds of writing style and that would help me in the future in other ways. Sine I’ve been on triond I find the difference so interesting! You are great to do this Deborah.
December 30th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Debra, I am deeply moved and honoured for your extremely kind words. I can not tell you how much all of your comments and messages mean to me when ever I hear from your.
Back in my much younger days I had learned about one of the spiritual gifts in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Not all of them are mystical such as healing, or prophecy or speaking in tongues. Some are rather mundane in their appearance such as teaching or hospitality. But they are even more important for livelihood. The one that stands out to me being the most profound and important is one that you, my dear Debra, possess in great abundance the gift of encouragement. I does not come naturally and must be fostered and I am grateful that you chose to share your gift.
Thank You!
Darren

haha I was siting through like all “where is my name?” it would make sense though that you can’t hit up everyone. Excellent piece of work here. and so true. The reason I am still with the triond community is because of the niceness I reseave, because lets face it…the money system can be a bit of a joke lol.

Hi Debra! My husband has been home all this week so I became lazy and just got on line again today. I was so surprised and glad that you mentioned me! Thank you so much!

What a wonderful post!
January 3rd, 2009 at 10:56 am
Great bunch of writers here on Triond. It is a shame that we do not have enough time to read everything written. We can only try to cover as much as possible. Many writers that you mention, as well as you, are on my friends list. I believe it a fact than we can learn from each other. Imagine experiencing discussions about, and views of Asia, Canada, europe and all corners of the earth without having to be there. Our friends on Triond offer much more than just words.
January 9th, 2009 at 8:50 am
lovely piece. I am relatively new to triond and I am happy to have found a community of people who appreciate writing. I didn’t think I would enjoy reading other people’s work as much as I do and I often log on to read through new articles and poetry.
It’s really encouraging when other writers comment on my work so I always try to make an effort to do the same.
all the best.
January 11th, 2009 at 11:50 pm
Nice piece, Deb. I do agree that Triond is composed of many different writers. Thanks for the encouragement. Happy New Year!
