I have written this article to help those who are new to the world of earning money online as well as those who spend their dear time searching the internet for online work. Here, I hope you find useful information for yourselves.
A little story I want to share!
During the early days in 2005, I had an interest in writing poems. I had written a few which my DT teacher had enjoyed and he insisted me to write one every single lesson. I did what I was told and one day, he had left our school without telling us. I didn’t write anything else after he had gone and it was a day in December 21st 2005, when I decided to write poems permanently. I wrote my first poem called ‘The Sunset’ which you can find here on this site. After nearly a year, I published them on a teenage writing site called ‘Writers Window’ which showcases your work as well as allowing other writers to post feedback. I found this very exciting but a few months later, my mind suddenly thought if I could post my poems on a site which would earn me money for it. I searched several times and I couldn’t find anything until I stumbled onto Helium. This was a site where you write articles and I wasn’t sure if it would allow me to post poetry. I joined the site in January 2007 and at the same time; I had left the site because I was upset due to the fact that it didn’t allow ‘Creative Writing’ at the time and I had no clue how to use the site.
I gave up on this idea and continued using ‘Writers Window’ but throughout the year I had seen ads for Helium on many websites and I thought I will have a look at it again. This time it was easy to understand and ‘Creative Writing’ was allowed. I signed up with a new username and started writing articles.
At the same in June 2008, I signed up with Triond.com and posted a lot of my poems on here. I found both sites quite exciting and have continued using them.
However, I have not become rich over the year but I have enjoyed the sites. It does mean that making money online isn’t going to make us rich in a day, but if we put hard effort into our works, we can make a passive online income.

I understand what your saying here but Triond is the only site I write on for now that pays. Other then that I write a blog that doesn’t pay anything but gets me readers.

Great article! I still say publishing articles on http://www.triond.com and http://www.bukisa.net is the best way to build a long-term income. Sure it takes a while, but you end up with an automatic recurring income for a long long time.
