The Starting of a Nightmare.

Just a little information for this blog I am making.

Whether we admit it or not, we’ve all been scared of something at one point. It could have been a movie, a television show, and maybe even a book has given you endless nightmares. The point is, as humans, we are naturally in fear. Here on my blog, however, I will be specifically posting stories my fellow readers on 4Chan know as, “Creepypastas.”

Urban Dictionary’s second definition of a Creepypasta is: “Creepy stories that float around on the Internet, mainly on 4Chan. “Originating on 4Chan were more simple stories like the rumor that if you say, “Bloody Mary,” three times while looking into the bathroom mirror and turn the lights back on, Bloody Mary would appear before you and kill you. While most young children were petrified by the thought of this being true, the more mature teenagers took advantage of this fear and decided to create more creepypastas.

Today, thousands of creepypastas can be read on numerous sites, there’s even a site called creepypasta.com, which has a few good ones. I, myself, have just been introduced to these scary stories, and decided to create a blog based on them. In my future posts, I will be posting creepypastas, as well as rating them on a scale of 1 to 10 based on a few aspects. These aspects are: realism (whether or not the story feels like it could actually happen), scare factor (how much the story actually scared me), and creativity (whether it is original or not).

So for my upcoming posts, I hope to give you stories that will make you crap bricks, as well as stories that feel realistic and creative. Those with strong hearts, proceed to reading the stories (when I actually get around to posting them), those faint of heart, I recommend you leave, or Bloody Mary may come to get you.

P.S. Every now and then, I may post something different then a scary story, but these are what you’ll find mainly posted.
