The Masque of the Red Death

This story was about a city that was going through a stage of disease that killed a lot of people and the king was afraid of getting it. His plan was to block everyone off and just keep to himself. This worked for a while but then we decided to throw a party and invited his closest friends and family. The party went great and there were 7 rooms that were set up for the party. The king saw mask that was to good and told the man to revile himself but the man didn’t, the king chased the man through the 7 rooms. When they got to the last dark the room the mask was reviled and it was the read death itself and it killed the king.

I like this story it had a lot of deep meaning to it and had to think about it a lot. I also like how the 7 rooms represented the stages of his life and the last dark room is his death. The big clock also meant a lot to this story, every hour when it rang people would stop everything and just look at it. Over all this was a good story and the symbolism is great in this story.
