Tried to get some poetry published while in college and got enough rejection slips to paper a room. A few years later worked as a writer for an all sports newspaper. The pay was lousy but at least the bowling scores got read. Now here I am. Trust me this is definitely more fun! I began writing before the days of the internet. I have two novel-length manuscripts and scads of poetry that surfaces in odd moments when cleaning or clearing up old files. I think on-line publishing will shake down in a few years, and that quality will shine regardless. We all have our favorites we watch for, and hope they've written something new. Excellent points.
