The Hot Content List: Writing for The World to See

Triond’s writer’s showcase is for all to see.

We all want to see our own articles on the hot content list. Why you may ask? To get more views for our works of course. Interestingly enough no matter how hard we may try some of us never quite seem to make it on to this prestigious list. Perhaps this is why I have many a time given up wondering why should I keep trying to make this list.

The hot content list is where articles are placed for all to see. Somehow, articles are picked in seemingly random ways. Of the many times that I have written only one of my articles have some how made it on to that list. Reflecting back on this I think that this is one of the few article that I did not expect to make the list. It is after all possible that Triond is run by psychics that like to surprise us with placing unexpected article on the list.

In an attempt to test this hypothesis I am writing this article with the intention of it not making the hot content list. If it somehow makes it there we may end up with a new insight into the inner workings of Triond. The hot content list is also the place where individual authors get shown to the world. In a world where popularity brings in money its not surprising that we want our names to be seen by the world and gain credit for our work.

Thus, gone are the days when people shared their thoughts to explain their insights to other people. Of course there are many that enjoy the challenge created by writing for nothing other than self satisfaction. It may be this satisfaction which may bring out a new talent within a person that was hidden until this moment.

Don’t bother with the Hot Content list – in terms of trying to get on it. It is only viewed by Triond members and then most of them will not bother to click on the articles there. It makes very little difference in terms of hits.

People should concentrate instead in getting their work on to the internet, rather than the intranet that Triond really is! :-)

Good article tho – it is frustrating for some that they do not make it on the list but I can honestly, as someone who sometimes make it on there, say that it is only worth dimes….
