I totally agree with you on the newspaper part. Though I&#039;ve never worked in the industry, you can see it happening. There is an immediacy with news - we want it on the minute something happens and once over, it&#039;s over, we seldom want to go back. Not many are interested in news from a day ago.

But I&#039;m not sure I&#039;d agree with you when it comes to print books. Could you compare books to music? Just because people can buy the same version on iTunes or Spotify, does it mean they may not go out and buy the CD? I don&#039;t know. I&#039;m not an expert.

I&#039;m a lover of print books. I love the feel and the smell of them. At the moment, the thought of reading a book electronically doesn&#039;t appeal. I&#039;d only read blogs, news and articles electronically. With print books, there&#039;s a ritual involved that gives you a feeling of sitting in a field or by the sea on your own just reading with no distractions. The iPad, for instance, wouldn&#039;t do that. Saying that, I love Apple products. The only thing that would make electronic books an option is if I can&#039;t fit 20 hardbacks in the suitcase.
