The Five Stages of Rejection: Triond Style

Articles rejected? Learn about others in the same plight!

Who hasn’t heard of the five stages of denial? Put that hand down, it’s a rhetorical question!

Anyways, let’s go through them Triond style, eh? Getting an article rejected can be harsh. (So I’ve heard … heh heh heh).

1. Denial

Pretty self-explanatory? If you just got DENied, you should go through DENial! Nothing more to say here, except, on a tangent, if you get SERVEd, do you enjoy complimentary SERVice?

2. Anger

I’m sure you’re just about ready to take out your TRIforce and TRIupmh against the TRIond baddies who rejected your baby! But wait, they’re really nice people! (And if you’re reading this article and haven’t heard of Triond for some odd reason, sign up! You get paid to write stuff like this!)

But there are better ways to VIndiction than VIolence. (Capital letters are officially over. Over). The best way to get revenge is to redirect your anger and write some angsty poetry. Within days, your musings will be the top article and sweet, sweet glory will be yours!

3. Bargaining

Just in case the whole “sweet, sweet glory” thing didn’t work out for you, it’s time to bargain. If you want to negociate, do it in style. Make up a cool abbreviation and start strategic talks. I’d try Triond Article Removal Tribunal (TART). Then once you’re ready, fire up the sass machine and go!

4. Depression

They didn’t like my TARTs! My TRIforce (couldn’t resist!) did nothing against them! This article would have had a major differnece in the balance of my PayPal! How will I be loved? Oh, cruel Triond.

(5 minutes later…)

*sigh*

5. Acceptance

Yeah, that artucke was pretty bad. I suppose drinking and writing don’t mix.
