Two in one day
Even the eponymous novel by author David Nicholls has rightly become the absolute bestseller. Rarely has a love story was so moving and bittersweet, but is refreshingly free kitsch says. The outlook is more rosy than that the film version of “Two in one day” the hearts of moviegoers will storm.

It is the story of two people who are told over 20 years: Emma Morley (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess) are located on the very day of their exam celebration on 15 July 1988 closer and spend the night together. But although both go to the end of their studies the next day their separate ways, they never lose contact with each other. So fundamentally different Em and Dex also gone so different are their lives. The one constant remains their meeting on 15 July each year and must pass 20 of them, until they realize what they were looking for her whole life …

Had to be because the story is compressed for the film to just over 100 minutes, the personal development of the protagonists and their special relationship to each other are portrayed, of course not so complex as it can the novel, of wit and charm, however, the film loses absolutely no one . Not least, the great actor Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess make “two in one day,” one of the most unusual film tip to love stories of cinema-year unconditional and thus to one.
