Love is not a thing to be asked for, but a thing to be provided. So, the only test of love is the other partner’s satisfaction, not of the self.
Often, persons get attracted to some one and call themselves in love with the person attracted to. In fact, it is no love but serving one’s own purpose. Many times, both the partners of a so-called loving relationship are seekers of their own gratifications but think that they love each other. Although, when both the partners say that they love each other, no third person has a right to treat their relationship differently. Is this criteria of mutuality enough to prove the truth of love? I think NO. A true love has altogether a different crteria for being tested on.
Love is not something for being asked but a thing to be provided. This basic fact of love sets the criteria of a true love to be the satisfaction of the other person from the love he/she gets. With this atisfaction of the other person, the love gets reflected and is received by the person who initiated the process of loving. Again, it is the satisfaction of this person that guarantees existence of love of the other person. If the recipient is not satisfied with the love he/she gets, the love does not exist.

In true love, no expression of love in words is necessary. A love is best expressed by a touch and it gets verified by a smile of acceptance on the partner’s face. Such loving touches are recognized by even innocent infants.
So friends, just take care of your partner to show your love to him/her. You have no right to ask for somebody’s love without caring for him/her.
