As a program developer for 45 years on systems from early computers to the web and Java, I would like to make a couple of suggestions.
I programmed my first computer, an IBM 1620 in February1963 and have been writing code for the monsters since. I have written in at least 25 languages. The Triond application set is pretty good as web applications go. Some of them are pretty bad.
Right now there is one interesting and unusual feature (AKA bug) that drives me crazy. When I bring up an article in most sites and try to scroll down the application scrolls down and then pages back to the top until you click on the article. This may only happen in Forefox, but then, heck only about 1/3 of the web community uses it instead of the Mickeyshaft Internet Exploder.
But back to the suggested fixes.
My portfolio now consists of over 2100 articles and pictures. The oldest one is a picture of a manure spreader, the standard propaganda engine of the Democrat party. The newest article is about BO and MO, two snobs.
1) When I try to find one article myself this is a daunting task and it would be easier for people on the outside as well if there were a couple of searches that do not exist now. Try it some time. One thing that works on most web searches is the ability to put an argument in quotes to make it look for a phrase, like “King BO” which should get one of my articles. It doesn’t. The simple addition of this ability would be fantastic.
2) Secondly when I look for an article on the content page, usually to either advertise it or modify it I usually know the name so unless it is very recent I sort by name then page to that area. I have 41 pages so I can only hit 1-3 and 39-41 directly. I have to go to 3, 5, 7, etc. Could the software show the first letters of the name or allow a selection by that to make it easier to find an article? If you did the first letter I would page less and your servers would have less work. You would then have to allow either all of the articles starting with that letter or provide some form of paging. On the same note, maybe a pull down block with a list of pages would be better than the numbers the way they are.
These two would help.

Good ideas. I too have trouble with the scrolling, and I am on explorer.
The search function would be awesome!

Wow, Ralph! You have 2100 articles and pictures on Triond? You must spend a lot of time on the program. I wish I could spend more time writing. I have more ideas to write about than I have time.
I have my doubts that anyone at Triond paid any attention to your suggestions. I find it difficult just to get correct corrections done in a timely manner. Have you tried contacting them directly?
When you speak of “King Bo,” are you referring to the anointed messiah who arrived on earth not too long ago?
