There she falls in love with their Leader a man with a painful past. He goes by the name of the painted man. Conceiving a son who maybe the one from the prophecy its up to Liadan to keep him safe all on her own while the painted man is no where to be found.

Son of the shadows is an amazing read. Out of the five books in the Sevenwaters series it is my favourite. An amazing story line with romance as well was adventure. The journey of Liadan will give any girl/women to fight for what you believe in.The female characters are strong and independent and yet they are vulnerable to love. If you love a good romance with forbidden love and adventure this is the read for you.
