Sincerely, Me

This is a song a wrote and published to my xanga account awhile back. I’m going to post it here so more people can see it. It is about a boy that drags my feelings along as he tries to make up his mind. It is me basically telling him I give up. I hope you enjoy!

Gonna take a deep breath,
Let it all soak in
take another look
and let the fun begin
need to enjoy the ride
make sure i buckle in
before we crash and burn
because i know this will end

Because now…
I see the questions in your eyes
Because now…
You wish you could hide
You tasted blood and now you want more
Don’t look back as you walk out the door

So Dear you,
don’t worry about me
I know you can see
I just want you happy
and Dear you,
you can do what you please
come and go like a breeze
you do it with ease
just know i can’t take much more
my hope has finally hit the floor
sincerely,
me

I keep wiping away
these tears that remain
and take another step
into the pouring rain
my heart split in two
nothing more to gain
fearing the worse
as my hopes go down the drain

Because now…
I can’t catch my breath
Because now…
I feel the noose around my neck
You’re strangling me with every word
If I die young, at least you have heard

Dear you,
don’t worry about me
I know you can see
I just want you happy
and Dear you,
you can do what you please
come and go like a breeze
you do it with ease
just know i can’t take much more
my hope has finally hit the floor
sincerely,
me

I hope you know
There is nothing more here
Nothing more I can bear
and I hope you know
I wish you would come back
But you will never do that

So here I am, taking one last stand
Can’t you see this my way…

Dear you,
don’t worry about me
I know you can see
I just want you happy
and Dear you,
you can do what you please
come and go like a breeze
you do it with ease
just know i can’t take much more
my hope has finally hit the floor
sincerely,
me…
