Why you should use a blog to market your work.
A lot of people that I have met on Triond tend to spend a lot of time writing articles. Now in itself there is nothing wrong with that, but a lot of people don’t bother to market their work other that of talking with people on Triond.
If you are lucky with Triond, you might get enough people to visit your work that you will cash out with a good 50cents or so a month, but if you are like me you want to be receiving at least 50-60 hits a day (something I have yet to accomplish.) The thing about Triond though is that if you just send someone a message asking someone to view your work it is extremely rude, not to mention annoying especially if you don’t have the courtesy of commenting on the other persons work.
Blogs are a very simple way of making sure that your work gets out to a specific audience. Now this doesn’t mean that all you have to do is throw some crappy piece of work together and call it good, but it does mean that after spending a few hours on a site like Wordpress, or Blogger, you will have a great way to get more readers.
Get an audience! One of the best ways for a non profit blog to benefit is to set up an EntreCard account. This way you can set up a blog, and show people that are interested in your writing what you have to offer. Just post everything on Triond, and create a post with a hyper link that heads to what you wrote on Triond, it’s really that simple.
Only time will tell. It will depend on how well you market your blog, and how much work you put into it. With the new feature that Triond has implemented I was able to see about 10 or 15 visits to my Triond work from my blog IzzyDaniels.com which is not a ton, but it is progress. Hopefully I’ll be able to get more people to actually read the articles that I post.

Very helpful. I’ve recently update my website at violentsleep.com to include links to all my articles on Triond. Can’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner!
