I decided that I might set myself some writing goals this month, to see if it made a difference.
I have been a member of Triond for quite some time now, but have only recently become proactive in my writing. Last month I published 44 articles, which is over one a day, and so far this month I have had an article published each day. I figured it was time to start being a bit more regimental and structured in my writing- considerring that this is the career I have in mind- in order to develop good habits young. So, my goals for April are as follows:
Poetry:
Write/ publish 15 poems
Short stories:
Write/ publish 5 stories
Articles:
Write/ publish 20 articles
Photography:
Publish 3 photos
(All of improved quality)
I am particularly looking to venture further down the short story route as this is what I write most often (as well as poetry- I must have hundreds of short stories knocking about that have never been read by anyine besides me, so it I will be spending time editting and publishing those over the next few weeks also (pitifully, I have only got one story published on Triond).
Well, now I’ve said it I’ll have to do it! Off to start writing!
