Sequel to ‘Prometheus’ ready at work on Ridley Scott, Science fiction movie ‘Prometheus’ director Ridley Scott’s claim has not been released in theaters. But the British director has expressed interest in directing the sequel to the film.

Ridley who is currently filming a new version of ‘Blade Runner’ reveals, he enjoyed returning to the world of science fiction. ‘Alien’ which was released earlier in 1979 it was one of the best science fiction film directed by the now 74-year-old.

“Now I’m thinking about what would I do to ‘Prometheus 2′,” he said as reported by Entertainment Weekly, Friday (10/02/2012).

‘Prometheus’ was actually prepared as a prequel ‘Alien’. But then the plot evolved into a mythology of its own.

Story ‘Prometheus’ focus on the team of explorers who discover clues origins of humankind on Earth. This discovery leads them to a thrilling journey into the dark corners of the universe. There, they have to fight a terrible battle to save the future of mankind.

The film is scheduled to appear in U.S. theaters on June 8 to come. ‘Prometheus’ featuring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Ben Foster, Patrick Wilson and Guy Pearce.
