Lately there is a lot of discussion and argumenting on the earnings in Triond and other paid by view sites.
A lot of writers start on Triond, but leave it at a certain point.
Why is Triond so frustrating to remain? I believe it are the earnings. Fact is that you can have content that has over 40 views and no cent earned.
Sometimes you have one that gives you just 5 views and earns you a cent.
That creative writing does not earn, is clear. Triond might be great medium for self promotion of your artistic writings, but they will get you nowhere.
There are days that you see your views going up and still no cent more. So Triond is not begging for views, but for clicking on the ads.
People who just want to be read and do not mind the earnings, will not mind it. If you are just a hobby writer that is happy to be published, without having to spend a cent, it can do.
But professionals, who have to pay the bills with their earnings, especially here in the Western world are right to complain that it is a disgrace for their quality content to earn nothing or as good as nothing.
It is frustrating to see that somebody who has great writings, but no serious topics, might even score hot content. Even and ad to take over a game account will do.
And there you are with well researched work, that gets less than 50 views and no money.
Sell it elsewhere? Ok, let’s try to get a good upfront payment job.
Oops, this is also hard. Why pay a freelancer good money, when you can get Bukisa articles on their website for free, just using the republish link?
Why pay Western standard wages for 500 word articles to a freelancer, if somebody else might be willing to do it for a dollar an article?
And the on line writing business goes even further: some sites even ask payment to subscribe. Or you can subscribe for free, but with less privileges. Sites like Freelancer for example, where you can become a Gold member and have more advantage.
There are so many sites that promises fortunes to writers for home work in the freelance business. No experience, no degree, nothing required, just a few dollars to enter.
Now be quite sure that the money back guarantee will have a trap somewhere. If you do not earn, they will pay you back. But they are vague in their condition descriptions.
Sorry, you might work for as good as nothing as a web publisher here on Triond, but it costs you nothing and youremain owner of your content.

Perhaps what you are saying is true but I would make two points:
1) My writing has improved thanks to Triond (I notice that your writing too is improving); and
2) I get paid more for writing on Triond than I would have gotten paid for not writing.

Inna

I totally agree on that Inna. We are here to train our writing and might get some cents from it, some even some dollars. But what really matters is that our writings improve, that we learn to produce content and that this might be more than some get from very expensive writing courses, that might not pay off.

This article describes exactly why I like Triond. There are other sites that might pay better, but I don’t like the restrictions they bring.

I enjoy writing for Triond. I have four other favorites where I publish pretty much for the fun of it, then I have one company for which I do serious writing. I’m glad to have the other sites, which are similar to Triond, where I can write in a more relaxed style. Focus, yes. Be exclusive, no.

Great write-up you have here. I like Triond because it has the flexibility of being able to put just about anything on your article (photos, videos, etc).
