What is going on? I look at pages from Purpleslinky regularly and now my advice is that the site has been listed as suspicious by Google!! No smoke without fire – or is there?
Over the past eighteen months exploring the online writing world I owe my start to TRIOND, however, my main area of activity over the past six months has been over at BUKISA and the excellent REDGAGE. At all these sites I keep an eye on security whilst blogging, picture sharing and writing.
Imagine my shock when my online security warned me against viewing Purpleslinky this morning!! I have a 4GB Dell lap top with Windows 7, using Firefox with its inbuild browsing security and Norton for overall protection. Take a look at the screen print I was faced with today:

Okay, I’m happy to believe that this is over zealous security, but my advice to Triond and the “Head of Purpleslinky” is sort it out!! Google visited yesterday and were not happy. They have found 26 pages that resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent in the past 90 days.
What are the options? “Nothing to worry about”, “writers being malicious”, “Triond being malicious”, “Google over reacting”, “everyday occurrence so calm down” OR “hackers”. Whichever, please add your feedback and let’s keep Triond the place we know and love.

yes, it’s been resolved!! The article took 48 hours to publish although it was intended to be a “news” story (not knowing the outcome) – now the struggle is to make sure readers come back

Actually it was ALL triond sites, in the forum there were many threads about this and at Trionds “getsatisfaction” page there was a massive thread.
when you have problems the forum is the first place to go to check to see if it is just you, your computer, or Triond itself
