Trying to understand what poetry is.

Um… Poetry?
What is poetry?
Ofcourse there is a definition for the word, ADUH!
But, What is the human understanding for the word poetry?
And why do we write poetry?
Thats my REAL question.
These are some of my unsolved question, because when you ask a person, “What is poetry?”
They just say “Um poetry… Poetry is Poetry? Right?”
Isn’t that funny?
You can ask a smart person what poetry and they will just use they’re big words to avoid answering the question. But what about a regular person, not too smart, not too stupid.
They are just regular.
I wonder what their answer might be. Mmm…?

you;re so right poetry is so many different things to different people, To me poetry is good therapy for lifes problem, a way to help sort my thoughts and a release for my immagination. What does it mean to you??

Poetry is an expression of life’s manifestations in a person. If you’re a singer, you will express it by song. If you’re a painter, you will express it in your paintings. If you are a poet then assumingly, you will do it by poetry.
