Paying It Forward on Triond

This article discusses paying it forward on Triond (or lack thereof) among the readers and writers of Triond.

Now, it seems to me there’s a great missed opportunity among its readers (but especially among its writers) of Triond.com. The idea of paying it forward is simple. In real life it means that if someone does something nice for you, then you in turn do something nice for someone else, instead of paying back the person that helped you in the first place.

Now when I first heard about Triond, it was my assumption that people would be making decent amounts of disposable income on the side adding their own articles to the website. Now while I’m aware that generous amounts of money won’t be made overnight, and it will probably take a while to earn any significant income  through this site, there’s a real missed opportunity among Triond readers and writers with enough power to leverage the entire Triond network for the better.

So here’s what I’m proposing. From this point forward if you read an article (or video, or photo, etc.) I want you to do one of three things:

  1. Indicate that you like the article by going to the bottom of the article and clicking the buttonthat indicates such. Even if you hate the article.
  2. Add a comment to the comment section, even if it’s the worst poem you’ve ever read, or themost grammatically poor article ever posted, post a comment at the bottom post, and let thereader know.
  3. Probably the easiest way to pay it forward, click on one of the ads within that person’s post.

On a personal note, I hate my job, and it’s always been my dream to quit my full time job and work from home as a full-time freelancer, but I realize that I can’t do it alone. There’s strength in numbers people. Let’s start changing lives today and really leverage the network what we have here for the better.
