Her journey begins from visiting Moscow in 1941. After that she meets Gargoyle named Bill who becomes her guide trough time. Luce gets to know herself better. She got many occasions to interact with past herself. She witnesses her own deaths. She can see Daniel’s love to her, his suffering, misery and passion. In many moment Luce losing her faith in her future with Angel. She questions justice existence.  In meantime Grigori tries to find his love before she erases there future. Also Luce’s friends (Shelby and Miles) follow her as well.

“Passion gives us opportunity to travel through time with characters. We can visit many amazing places like Moscow in 1941, Milan in 118, Heston ( England) in 1854, Paris in 1923, London in 1613, Greenland in 1100, Mesoamerica in 555CE, Jerusalem in 1000 BCE, China in 1046 BCE and Egypt in 3100 BCE and many more.

Lauren Kate shocks us by descriptions of Luce deaths and interaction with herself. Because characters emotion we can feel that we are part of their story. The book is griping from first page to last sentence. Fast action, continuously changing story, humour, and drama don’t give us a chance to breathe with relive.

In “ Passion” we meets characters from previous part of series ( Arriane, Cam, Moly, Gabb, Shelby, Roland, Miles and many others), whose thanks to their amazing personalities make novel more interesting.

Book is written in simple style without any unnecessary language knots. Writer got knowledge of Biblical events ( Fall of the Angels, battle between good and evil, human’s free will, Angels choice) and historical knowledge ( I and II World Wars, Romantic time’s England, court of Louis XV, ancient China, Egypt and Jerusalem).

Lauren Kate’s imagination and talent are true treasure and her writing style, emotional characters are remarkable. All books from “Fallen series” are dark, gothic and romantic.

In my opinion “Passion” is the best book from the series so far. The end of the book is surprising but with sadness I can say that final book “Rapture” will be available not sooner than on Spring 2012, so we have to be patient.
