One Word for Triond Editors

Being an editor for such amazing website must not be easy and must be amazing at the same time. See why inside.

Being an editor for this website must be one of the best jobs in the world and I tell you why. Triond Editors will have to read and evaluate a lot of articles an information every single day. Now what do you think about a job that pays you to read and evaluate articles and at the same time to learn A LOT from them all? I don’t know just how many editors Triond has, but having to read all that information makes their brains really fit and powerful after absorbing so much information. I think that they publish around 100 articles per day, if each article is 2 pages long that makes 200 pages a day, that’s a whole book per day! Thank God our brains seem not to have a limit of how much information it can handle. Could you imagine if you got a message saying “your brain is almost full, buy some more space”?

Being an editor also means a lot of fun. Come on, not everyone is an expert in english specially people from outside the U.S. so imagine how the editors laugh hard when they find one article full of mistakes and so funny at the same time, specially when the article does not complain with their quality guidelines. They must have strong abs of so much laugh and probably they have to stop one minute or two to rest and recover from the effort.

Another cool part of the job is to gain a better and bigger vision of the world. Since you must read so much information your world will be wider and wider day by day. Knowing of other people’s experiences that are not available anywhere else it’s just the finest piece of the gold crown.  It’s unique and top quality knowledge available to them before anyone else in the world!

The worst part of the job is having to reject some articles because they do not complain with their quality standards. That’s great for the community and the network but it always feels bad having to say no to someone…

Keep on the great work Triond Editors!

Take Care!

“specially when the article does not complain with their quality guidelines. They must have strong abs of so much laugh and probably they have to stop one minute or two to rest and recover from the effort.”

The word is “comply” not complain, and further it’s “so much laughing” not so much laugh

no offense intended to the author but I thought I’d point that out, we all make mistakes though so no point in the pot calling the kettle black. Over all it was a good article

my name should be anonymous,i mispelled it to anomalous. anyway, as writers we have responsibility to our readers. before submitting any materials to triond, it must be atleast 99.9% error free including the small details like punctuation mark, spelling, etc. anyway this is a good article. i have no other “complain” except for the misused word that should be “comply”. Great job!

I enjoyed this article,I forgave it for it small errors and if ever I can help proof read something for you Redburn I would help, I am not a proof reader but have helped a couple of non English speaking friends on here.Triond is a great meeting place for writers and for giving each other support, the editors do a great job and for that I thank them, they give confidence and courage to ’shy’ writers like myself, I have now hit the keyboards more than ever and it is through this site and being able to read good work such as this.

I wonder how many articles in a day, and how many are refused?

Great title, I just had to check out the article. I concur, I had thought about too, such a great (but tough) job the editors must have.

I thought the mistakes worked really well, in a quirky sort of way. I love the way you’ve expressed your thoughts, especially the bit “your brain is full, buy some more space.” Very quirky, very real, and all in all, a wonderful piece.
